Printing for exhibition

Last week was the unveiling of the idea and the website. All was ready and up and running. We printed out our poster and exhibited it at our universities open studio day.
There were many laughs and compliments. All good news for us then. One mistake though was printing on gloss paper. We thought the gloss would complement the idea, however it made it look cheep, nasty and unprofessional. Wont be making the same mistake again.

Posters

We have finally finished the promotional print outs for the placemtteam.com. The posters have been created to generate intregue and driving creatives onto the website.

Here is one of the finished print outs. Notice our pencil taking centre stage. Mental photoshop skills were needed to enhance the size and tone of Tom's arm.

A taster

So the photo shoot was a success. Now all that is left to do is to adjust the colour, size and lighting in photoshop, then add the copy in illustrator and we should be all set. Will post the final outcome and the other possible designs.

theplacementteam.com

Working on the website

Work has gone underway with the website. We have bought the domain name 'theplacementteam.com'. On the website will be all five episodes and the National Portrait Gallery brief. Will keep you updated.

If you cant win one, make one

We needed a D&AD pencil for the phototshoot that will be part of the promotion for the mokumentary. After days of using our contacts in order to acquire the award we had no luck. So it left us with no other option than to make our own. And here is how we done it. All in the space of about 4 hours. Not too shabby eh? Now for the photoshoot.

Back in the studio

Oh dear, back in the studio editing the music and tweaking the sound on the final edits. nearly there but these long hours are starting to take their toll.
